Happy New Year!
I always encourage our team members to take time off – both shorter breaks during the day, and longer periods to recharge the batteries. This month I have taken my own advice and my husband, and I are spending a couple of weeks in the sunshine. As a business owner it is so much harder to switch of but this time I “allowed” myself a couple of firm days off with no emails, Teams messages or spreadsheets and the only thing on my to do list was podcasts, sudoku, sunshine, pool time and nice food.
Although my holiday is not yet over, I already feel the benefits with lots of extra energy, creativity and ideas and I cannot wait to kickstart this new year. I look forward to continuing to service our loyal clients, and to welcome new opportunities during the year.

2023 Projects
I am excited about the ongoing projects that we are working on, which include the following:
Our expansion into Guernsey – I see an exciting future in Guernsey. We already draft minutes for several boards and committees in Guernsey and recruited our first Guernsey team member in 2022. Our Jersey and Guernsey team act as a consolidated Channel Islands team at the outset to collaborate remotely to service our clients.
Training program – We are developing courses that will be offered face-to-face and online from the latter part of 2023.
New Services – Drafting minutes have been our core service since the launch of Virteffic in 2020. Due to an increased demand we are focusing more on other administrative services in 2023 such as projects, file reviews, data entry and more. We also saw an increased demand for other secretarial support services during 2022 including board effectiveness reviews, agenda planners/governance calendars and assistance with various secretarial and corporate governance projects.
Recruitment – Our team continues to grow and we are always happy to catch up with interested to connect with ambitious, self-motivated, highly organised individuals with positive attitudes. Get in touch if you want to register an interest in any roles that may become available.
