Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
Below is a summary of Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQ“) relating to Virteffic Limited (“Virteffic“) and the services provided. Do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions.
A virtual assistant is a person who provides services from a remote location. Accordingly, the services offered are remarkably diverse, as detailed in the list of services.
Simply put, a Virtual Assistant is someone who helps businesses by doing tasks they don’t know how to do, are too busy to do, don’t want to do or that would be better outsourced.
A Virtual Assistant can work as an extension to the employees, but works on a more flexible basis.
The services provided by Virteffic are comprehensive and divided into the following key areas:
- Executive and Technical (includes secretarial support, meetings & minutes, governance, strategy, regulatory mapping and P&Ps etc.).
- Administration (includes data entry, communication, and support with ad-hoc projects etc.).
- Creative (includes social media marketing, content creation, SEO optimisation, marketing material, websites etc).
- Lifestyle (includes events planning etc.).
Virteffic can assist as an extension to your on-site employees. A Virtual Assistant can perform most tasks that a regular employee can do. The great thing is that the service agreement is drafted so that you only pay for the time and services that you require. Furthermore, you can stop using the services at any time.
Virteffic charge on a time-spent basis, although a fixed fee estimate can be provided upon request.
Given that the role itself can vary quite greatly, and so the skill set and experience required, the fees for a virtual assistant varies.
Virteffic is transparent with its pricing and fees. Accordingly, Virteffic will provide a fee breakdown in the initial proposal and service agreement. In addition, a detailed invoice will be provided at the end of the contract or fee period together with a time sheet.
As a Virtual Assistant is not an employee, there are no additional fees which would be payable if you hired an administrator or secretarial assistant.
If you are reluctant or find it difficult to delegate your work – start with small steps. Some clients may just delegate a small “test” task for say 2 hours and wait to see the result before delegating further tasks.
The great thing is that the service agreement is drafted so that you only pay for the time and services that you require and you can stop at any time.
It takes time to build up trust, and with time, you will find it easier to delegate. Eventually, you will start seeing the results, and experience reduced pressure. Once you start to delegate, you will start noticing more and more delegation opportunities as new projects come up.
To begin, it all starts with a free consultation by telephone call, video conference or over a coffee (when social distancing rules permit so). Virteffic make time to get to know you and the demands of your business. The purpose is to find a solution tailored to your business.

In short; yes. The nature of the engagement is that the services are provided virtually. However, some services can be provided face-to-face, for example where a client wish for me to attend meetings in person for minute taking purposes.
Flexibility is the key; Virteffic will adapt to your preference. Some clients provide the information by email. There are many different benefits from using a Virtual Assistant.
In addition to the financial benefits, using virtual assistants in your business means that you can benefit from specialist talent and knowledge.
Some businesses delegate because they are extremely busy and the administrative tasks are not the the best use of their time. By delegating routine tasks, you will find more time to focus on more value-added activities that can build revenue.
Larger firms may use a Virtual Assistant whilst recruiting for a permanent employee. Resourcing issues are a major problem. It can cause increased stress levels for existing employees as well as having a negative impact on your business growth and profitability.
Reasons for using a Virtual Assistant may be that:
- You require an administrator to assist with the workload, but you do not want to commit to a full-time, long term employee.
- Temporary cover is needed when someone in your team is absent.
- Your business is new. Therefore, you try to keep costs down.
- Support is needed on an ad-hoc basis for administrative tasks.
- You want help to offload tedious and mundane tasks. This would allow you to can focus on building your business and ultimately growing your revenue.
- The talent for website maintenance, online marketing, statistics or analysing complex data does not exist within your current team.
