We’re delighted to share the news of Michelle’s well-deserved promotion to Assistant Manager – Finance & Recruitment at Virteffic. Her dedication, professionalism, and drive have made a real impact on our team, and we’re excited to see her step confidently into this new leadership role.
A career shaped by passion and persistence
Michelle began her career in administrative roles soon after leaving school, gradually gravitating towards bookkeeping as her interest in finance and organisation grew. After qualifying as a Level 2 bookkeeper, she naturally moved into finance-focused positions, aligning her skills and interests with long-term career goals.
“I’ve always been interested in numbers and finance,” Michelle shared. “I find real satisfaction in helping businesses grow. Bookkeeping gives me a structured way to work with financial data and contribute meaningfully to success, which is incredibly rewarding.”
Stepping into leadership
Michelle’s promotion reflects her dedication and the valuable role she’s played since joining Virteffic. “Being promoted is such a proud moment,” she said. “It shows that the company values my contribution and sees potential in me. It’s motivating and inspires me to keep growing and pushing myself.”
She’s especially excited about playing a more active role in supporting Virteffic’s development and contributing to the success of the wider team.
What’s ahead
In her new role, Michelle is looking forward to strengthening her leadership skills, supporting her colleagues, and driving operational improvements. “Managing people is about more than task delegation. It’s about empathy, motivation, and communication. I’m looking forward to developing those skills further and building a strong, supportive team.”
Her top goals for 2025 include:
- supporting the team to meet their targets
- improving efficiency by reducing costs and boosting productivity
- recognising team achievements and keeping morale high
Thriving in the Virteffic culture
Michelle values Virteffic’s flexible, supportive environment and the team’s positive spirit. “We all encourage each other,” she said. “It makes a real difference when you’re working towards common goals.”
When asked what advice she’d give to someone considering joining Virteffic, she said: “If you’re a self-starter and like working independently, you’ll thrive here.”
Life outside the office
Away from work, Michelle enjoys playing golf, a hobby she picked up during lockdown and now plays regularly. She also takes part in pilates, racketball, and represents Virteffic in the corporate padel league.

Michelle’s advice for anyone building their career: “Progress isn’t always a straight path. There will be setbacks, but resilience and determination will keep you moving forward.”
