At Virteffic, we take great pride in recognising the achievements of our team. Today, we’re celebrating Louise, who has been promoted to Assistant Manager – Co Sec and Corporate Governance.
A journey of growth and purpose
Louise began her career in trust and company administration straight after sixth form. Over more than a decade, she developed a strong interest in the company secretarial side of the work, where her organisational skills really came into their own. That interest has grown into a passion, leading her to Virteffic and a role that allows her to make a meaningful impact.
A well-earned step forward
Reflecting on her promotion, Louise said:
“I’m very grateful to have been promoted to Assistant Manager and proud to have earned the trust and confidence of the team. This role is a meaningful next step for me, it allows me to continue growing professionally while supporting my colleagues and maintaining a balance with family life.”
Louise has played a key role in helping to grow Virteffic’s presence in Guernsey and takes real pride in being part of the company’s development. She has a natural ability to support and encourage others, and we’re excited to see her bring that strength to her new role.
Embracing the next chapter
Louise is particularly looking forward to mentoring colleagues and helping them build confidence in their own roles.
“It’s so rewarding to see others grow. I love being part of a team where we support each other to reach our goals.”
This promotion is a perfect fit for her long-term aspirations and reflects the values that guide her; teamwork, adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.

“We’re all focused on being efficient and working well together, whether that’s internally or with our clients. It’s a really positive environment to be part of.”
She also appreciates the support she’s received from the team since returning to work after becoming a mum.
“Tess and the team have been so flexible and understanding, it’s made a huge difference in helping me balance work and family.”
Looking ahead
Louise’s goals for 2025 include strengthening collaboration within the team, building strong client relationships, and continuing to deliver the high standard of service that Virteffic is known for. Her advice to others?
“Believe in yourself, and don’t be afraid to ask for support. With the right mindset and the right people around you, you can go further than you think.”
Outside the office
Away from work, Louise loves spending time exploring Guernsey with her family. She also enjoys creative pastimes like painting, knitting and crochet. Her leadership style is inspired by a quote from Winnie the Pooh that continues to resonate with her:
“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
