At Virteffic, wellbeing isn’t just a tick-box exercise. It’s an essential part of how we work, how we support each other, and how we stay focused, energised, and effective—especially during our busiest periods.
Starting the week with a walk and a coffee
We kicked off our wellness week with a relaxed team walk, joined by a few of our little ones. It was a simple but refreshing way to step away from the screen, enjoy some fresh air, and reconnect in a calm and positive setting.
After the walk, we caught up over coffee – a chance to chat, share ideas, and spark some creativity before diving into the week ahead. These informal moments often lead to the most valuable conversations.
Pottery and pinot to round things off
Later in the week, we gathered for a pottery and pinot evening. It was the perfect opportunity to get creative, try something new, and unwind. With clay-covered hands and a glass of wine nearby, there was plenty of laughter and light-heartedness as we embraced a different kind of focus—one that encouraged playfulness, imagination, and fun.
All while staying on top of a busy board season
Wellness week came during one of the most demanding times in our calendar, with many clients holding their Q1 2025 quarterly board meetings. Behind the scenes, our team was busy preparing board packs, attending meetings, drafting minutes, and managing post-meeting actions.
Despite the full schedule, our team remained focused and efficient, delivering high-quality work while also making time to recharge and check in with one another.
Why wellness matters to us
The strength of our team lies in more than just what we do—it’s in how we support each other along the way. Wellness week is one of many ways we stay grounded, connected, and present.
When we look after our people, we’re better placed to look after our clients too.
Here’s to creating a culture that values balance and supports wellbeing—every day, not just during wellness week.
Sports, Social & Wellbeing (SSW) Committee
The wellbeing of our team has always been a core part of Virteffic’s identity. From the very beginning, Virteffic was designed to offer flexibility, autonomy, and a better life–work balance.
As the team grew beyond just Tess, our focus on looking after one another never changed. That’s why we introduced our sports, social and wellbeing committee early on—to keep wellbeing front of mind and to help the team stay connected and supported.
Our flexible working model means team members can build wellbeing into their day in a way that works for them. We also focus on a monthly wellbeing theme to keep conversations open and ensure we continue to prioritise mindfulness, health, and connection.
