• Phishing Threats: Remote workers are especially vulnerable to phishing attacks. These attacks often involve cybercriminals pretending to be well-known brands, like Microsoft, to trick people into downloading malicious files. Our training stresses the importance of being careful and checking emails for signs of phishing.

• Public Wi-Fi Risks: Public Wi-Fi networks, like those in libraries or cafes, are not always secure. Hackers can use these networks to steal sensitive information, including login credentials. Our training advises against using public Wi-Fi for sensitive work and suggests using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for a secure connection.

• Trustworthiness of Email Messages: Not all emails from colleagues can be trusted. Cybercriminals can fake email addresses to make malicious emails look legitimate.
