As an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute and a qualified accountant, Sarah combines governance expertise with a strong financial background, a practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering clear, effective support.

Sarah brings nearly 30 years’ professional experience from Guernsey Electricity, where she progressed from finance into senior financial management and ultimately became Company Secretary.
Her career has given her a broad understanding of financial operations, business management and corporate governance, alongside valuable experience working with executive leadership and at board level.
As Company Secretary, Sarah used her Chartered Governance Institute qualification to develop her governance expertise and gain a broader perspective across operational management, board responsibilities and the needs of an organisation as a whole.
Since joining Virteffic in 2024, Sarah has broadened her experience beyond a single company and governance setting, supporting clients across a wider range of industries. Her work includes minute writing, board effectiveness reviews, training, fee proposals and billing, alongside supporting data protection matters internally.
Sarah is an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute (ACG) and a Chartered Governance Professional. She is also a qualified accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting.

Family, wellbeing and giving back
Outside work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two children and maintaining a balance between work, family and personal interests.
She enjoys Pilates, gardening and crochet, and also gives back to the local community through her volunteer work with Les Bourgs Hospice.
