I joined the Finance and HR team at Virteffic with over 20 years of experience in office administration, payroll, and bookkeeping.
As a Level 2 qualified bookkeeper, with a diploma from the International Association of Bookkeepers, I bring both technical competence and a strong understanding of evolving payroll systems and software.

My earlier career in London included roles such as Personal Assistant to the Director of the Auction Team and Auction Coordinator for leading international property firms.
These roles sharpened my organisational and communication skills and instilled in me a strong sense of professionalism and attention to detail.

At Virteffic, I provide reliable and efficient support across finance, payroll, and HR functions, ensuring that the back office runs smoothly while also assisting with broader administrative needs.

In my previous roles, I’ve undertaken a variety of tasks, including:

  • Drafting staff contracts for new employees and handling weekly wage preparation.
  • Submission of Social Security and ITIS returns, along with quarterly GST submissions.
  • Weekly bank reconciliations for restaurant and lodging house accounts, particularly staff accommodations.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier invoices and management of supplier accounts using QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficiency in HSBC and Barclays online banking platforms.
  • Client invoicing using QuickBooks, especially for larger parties or bookings, and managing payment receipts.
  • Organising and filing accounts documentation, invoices, and monthly statements.
  • Petty cash reconciliations and management.
  • Weekly reconciliation of restaurant sales takings and staff tip distribution.
  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was actively involved in collating data for co-funding applications and reviewing government spot check declarations post-pandemic.

These tasks highlight my comprehensive skills in finance management, payroll, and administrative duties, ensuring efficient operations and compliance in various aspects of business management.

My expertise extends to tasks such as client invoicing, bank reconciliations, and handling payroll software systems, demonstrating my versatility and ability to adapt to diverse responsibilities.
