About the role

At Virteffic Limited, we provide flexible, high-quality governance, company secretarial and administrative support services to regulated and non-regulated clients across Jersey and Guernsey, and further afield.

We are looking for a Junior Virtual Assistant to join our growing team.

This role provides direct support to the Managing Director and wider team, with a strong focus on organisation, coordination and consistency. It is an ideal opportunity for someone at an early stage in their career who is keen to develop within a structured professional services environment.

📍 Location: Jersey or Guernsey residency required (remote-first)
🕒 Hours: Flexible (ideally 20–30 hours per week)
 💻 Working style: Remote-first with availability during standard business hours
 

Responsibilities

As a Junior Virtual Assistant, you will support the team with:

  • Calendar and diary management
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating availability
  • Preparing and formatting documents and correspondence
  • Supporting preparation of meeting packs
  • Maintaining action logs, trackers and records
  • Uploading and organising documents in SharePoint
  • Monitoring shared inboxes
  • Supporting day-to-day administrative processes
  • Providing general support to help meet deadlines and quality standards

Over time, responsibilities may develop depending on experience and capability.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Is reliable and comfortable managing their own workload
  • Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and SharePoint
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Is comfortable following structured processes
  • Is keen to learn and open to feedback
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality

Previous administrative experience is helpful but not essential.

Optional Skills

Depending on your interests, you may also support:

  • Canva or design tools
  • Website updates (WordPress)
  • Use of AI tools for drafting or formatting

These are beneficial but not essential.
